Multicurrency Options

All your deposits and cash outs will normally be displayed in your selected currency. Whenever you wish to join a ring game or a tournament, a certain portion of your current balance will be converted to the poker room's standard currency. The standard accepted currency at Vulcan Poker is US dollars.

Lobby Balance

The balance displayed in the bottom left corner of the poker room lobby indicates the currency used in your gaming account. When you point the cursor to your balance, a dialogue box opens, letting you know that your currency is different than the poker room's standard currency. A link to Vulcan Poker's help file is then offered. The file provides a more in-depth explanation of the multicurrency feature.

Joining a Ring Game

All amounts on the game table are displayed in the poker room currency. Nevertheless, when you sit at a ring game and wish to buy chips, a new dialogue box will open. The box will show the purchase amount in your selected currency and the number of chips that will be acquired in the poker room standard currency.

Leaving a Ring Game

When you leave a game, your chips are converted back to your originally selected currency.

Registering For a Tournament

When you sign up for a tournament the registration buy-ins are shown in both Vulcan Poker standard currency and your account currency. If you want to re-buy or purchase an add-on during the tournament, a new message would appear and offer an explanation on the conversion rate and the fees charged for the transaction.

Using 'table level' chip conversions, your deposits and withdrawals will always be shown in your chosen currency.

Winning a Tournament Prize

When you win a prize in a tournament, the prize amount is displayed in both the Poker room currency and your account currency.
